While building out a recent site, my job as he lead developer was to ensure that the technical choices we made were architecturally sound. Ensuring "architectural soundness" includes making sure choices meet the site requirements while being reliable and scalable. It also means making sure nothing breaks. I'm writing this series and speaking at various camps to get the word out that certain choices with Layout Builder can break features your users are likely going to want to use.
